Our Spring 2019 collection dually channels good and bad girl pop culture style at its most memorable: 1970s Sissy Spacek meets the villain in 1999’s cult film Cruel Intentions. The color palette keys in on neutral tones, with a focus on monochrome styling in timeless shades of white, grey, black and baby blue. The denim-on-denim Canadian tuxedo even makes an appearance in both women’s and men’s collections.
Fresh fabrications and pops of design flair revive and reinvigorate our classics: stretchy scuba breathes new life into the skinny silhouette, while special treatments on indigo denim add a subtle worn-in feeling. Zipper details, exposed buttons, and chewed hems add to the undone, bad girl vibe, while translucent statement pieces pepper the collection with a crisp finish. Sustainable efforts in design and production continue to be at the forefront of our collections, with 50% of sustainable denim in this season. Spring 2019 transports us back in time—through a fashion-forward, youth-centric lens.
We hosted a press day in New York to debut the collection, and in lieu of our usual production, a donation was made to the ACLU as well as our model and muse Jacquelyn Jablonski’s charity Autism Tomorrow.
